$TIGRINO
Leopardus tilcayo is the first new wild cat species named in 103 years, and Tigrino is the three-pound sanctuary cat it was described from. $TIGRINO brings his story to Solana: a community meme token built on a real cat, a real discovery, and the playful culture of the timeline.

The species
Meet Leopardus Tilcayo
Tigrino arrived at La Senda Verde sanctuary in 2017, assumed to be a common tiger cat. Years later, thirty-eight genomes showed his line split from every other tiger cat about 1.4 million years ago. In September 2026 his species was formally described as Leopardus tilcayo.
Tigrino is his name. Tilcayo is the species. $TIGRINO is the community meme token that celebrates them both on Solana.
